Pluto is a dwarf planet.It is not classified as a planet.A dwarf planet is a very small planet.Pluto ( just like the other planets ) travels around the Sun.It is only as wide as half as the United States!Pluto is even smaller then the Earth’s Moon!

This dwarf planet takes 248 Earth years to travel around the Sun.If you lived on Pluto you would have to wait 248 Earth years for your first birthday! Pluto is about 40 times farther from the Sun then Earth.

This dwarf planet has about 5 moons.Pluto is so cold that Earth’s air would freeze into a kind of snow there.

NO,Pluto is not a planet is was found in 1930.It was declassified as planet in the 20th century.PLuto acctully has five  moons;Charon,Styx,Nix,Kerberos and Hydra.Pluto distance from the sun is 3.67 miles.It gets as close to the sun as 2.76 miles.
