What Is Pluto?

Pluto is a small dwarf planet. It used to be classified as a  planet, but then some extremely clever people changed it to be a dwarf planet.

Pluto is so small that the earth’s moon is bigger than it. It takes 248 Earth years for Pluto to orbit the sun once. So you would have to wait 248 years to celebrate your first birthday if you lived there. However you would not survive because pluto is colder than Antartica.Pluto is in an area of space called the kupier belt which has other bits of icy rock in it.The Earth’s air would freeze into a kind of snow there.One day on Pluto would be 6 1/2 days on Earth. Pluto is about 40 timesfurther fro the sun than Earth is. It also has 5 moons.Fun fact:pluto actually has a heart on it!

Pluto is a classified dwarf planet is it not?   Yes pluto is haroa dwarf planet. The rock inside Pluto has likely settled into its core . Surrounded by a thick shell or mantle , of ice . Pluto and charon together are estimated to about 65% to 70% rock including metal and about 30% to 35% ice or material close to ice in density which could mean liquid. pluto was a planet for 75 yeary until 1930.

Many  people call pluto a planet and many call a dwarf planet.Which one is it?Well read this and you will find out. The reason why pluto is a dwarf planet because a planet has to be able to go through rocks and meteores without crashing or something.

Pluto is a very interesting planet as for 75 years it was considered our 9th planet in our universe but now is classified as a dwarf planet wich leaving our universe with just 8 planets. There are 5 dwarf planets altoghether now including pluto the greatest.

Pluto for more than 70 years was a planet was calassed as a planet,2000 when the international astronamical union down-graded it to a dwarf planet.a dwarf planet orbits the sun like any other planet,but is smaller. pluto is s small that it cant clear other objects out of its path.             

Pluto is named after the Greek god of the                                                                                        underworld. This is a later name for the more well                                                                       known Hades and was proposed by Venetia Burney                                                                     an eleven year old schoolgirl from Oxford, England.

Pluto is not  a planet but is counted as a dwarf planet because it is mising some key feachers of a planet and is is vevy small it is smaller than Earths moon.Pluto has a heart shaped glacier the size of Texas and oklahoma , this fascinating world has blue skys, spinning moons,mountinians as high as therockies andit snows but the snow is red.Theseare deatails we did not know until NASA’snae horizons’s space crarft was lanched in 2006 and flew part it in 2015.
